IPAMORELIN - Research Grade
Ipamorelin (Growth Hormone Secretagogue)
Informative Description: Ipamorelin is a short-chain synthetic pentapeptide consisting of 5 amino acids that belongs to the growth hormone secretagogue (GHS) class. It acts as a highly selective agonist of the ghrelin receptor (also known as the growth hormone secretagogue receptor, or GHSR), stimulating the targeted and controlled release of endogenous growth hormone.
Peptide Function:
Highly Selective Stimulation: Unlike first-generation secretagogues, it exclusively promotes the release of growth hormone (GH) from the anterior pituitary gland, closely mimicking the body's natural physiological pulsing.
Hormonal Axis Preservation: Its precise mechanism of action does not significantly elevate or alter plasma levels of cortisol, prolactin, ACTH, or aldosterone, allowing for an isolated study of the somatotropic axis.
Appetite Neutrality: Although it binds to the ghrelin receptor, it does not induce an exaggerated stimulation of hunger, which facilitates precise metabolic monitoring within research models.
Primary Uses (Research Applications):
Body Composition & Lipolysis Studies: Widely utilized in scientific research to analyze the reduction of adipose tissue alongside increased nitrogen retention for lean mass development.
Anti-Aging & Cellular Vitality Research: Evaluated in longevity protocols for its ability to enhance bone mineral density, accelerate collagen synthesis, and improve the overall structural quality of skin and hair.
Recovery & Restorative Sleep Models: Studied in laboratory settings for its positive impact on optimizing deep sleep phases, which are essential for cellular regeneration and systemic physical recovery.
